The Tebughna Foundation is the non-profit wing of Tyonek Native Corporation. The Foundation, funded by Tyonek Native Corporation, has its own Board of Directors and is tasked with addressing and supporting the needs and wants of the Tyonek shareholder community.
The Tebughna Foundation was founded in September 2007 to Preserve, Enhance, Educate, & Serve the community of Tyonek and the shareholders of Tyonek Native Corporation. The Foundation received its 501c3 status from the Internal Revenue Service in June 2009 and is a registered Non-Profit Corporation in the State of Alaska.
The Foundation manages a Scholarship program and other benefit programs such as a Cultural & Community Donations program to assist with community and cultural events, established by the Corporation and managed by the Tebughna Foundation.

Scholarship programs through the Tebughna Foundation include:
General Semester Scholarships: for students who are taking 2-year or 4-year college classes, either enrolled part-time or full-time. Scholarships are awarded by semester with deadlines: April 15, July 1 and December 1
Vocational/Technical Training: Vocational Grants are for students who are enrolled in a vocational or technical training. Applications are due 30 days prior to start date.
Grants: The Foundation provides grants that reimburse students for specific necessities. TF currently has four different grants: IT Tools for School, Tools for Jobs, and Book Refund.
